Just Pictures

Meme sent me these the other day. I thought they were cute.

Oatmeal with a side of dinosaurs.

One of the few times Jennifer took a pacifier. If you click on the last picture, you can see
the red hair Jennifer had. It has fallen out since these were taken.

Mastered

Today, Cullen mastered the slide. He will now go down without someone "Brent" going with him. Cullen would slide last year, but this year wouldn't do it alone until today. The other pictures are of him jumping from the edge of the slide. Yeah, Cullen!

He slid
and slid
and slid
while Jennifer ate!

Super Fantastic

Cullen's school had a 3rd of July Parade today and firetruck rides. He stays home with me during the summer, but on special days he goes to school. Jennifer and I took him to school this morning, and we stayed for all the fun. First, there was the parade. Then, firetruck rides, and last but not least the made homemade ice cream. It was alot of fun, and we enjoyed the morning.

Cullen's friends and teachers.
When we got home, Brent took Cullen to the pool. Jennifer and I joined them a little later. She is not very fond of the pool. I cannot say that about Cullen. He had a blast. Brent can do so much more with Cullen at the pool since I have height issues.
Brent stands at the foot of the slide and Cullen
jumps,

and jumps,

and jumps some more. Brent gets a real workout.

In Cullen's own words, "It was a super fantastic day that I really enjoyed."

Daddy's Girl

Jennifer loves her Daddy.
These are pictures of her laughing and smiling at him.
Hey Daddy...
Who me?
I love you!
She has him wrapped around her little finger.

First Food

Little Miss Sweet Potato!
Sweet Potato was her first food on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
First Bite...
What is that on my tongue?
Wait, I'm not sure if I want more.
I'll have another taste.
Don't stop now!
She ate half of the little container for supper on Tuesday night, the other half on Wednesday for supper and a whole container tonight. Last night her tummy was hurting. She did not sleep well. I believe her little system was trying to figure out what was going on with this new food thing. Tomorrow we will be trying peas for three days. We will then move on to something else. She likes the food. Now she thinks she should have what I am having.
Only baby food my little sweetie!
