Recovery

Cullen is doing great. He was in a lot of pain the first day and night but is handling it well. Yesterday, he ate Chick-fil-a. The doctor said it was fine as long as it was small and slow bites. He is also eating his weight in popsicles, jello and ice cream. Brent made him one of his famous chocolate milkshakes last night. He was going around singing, " Daddy makes the best milkshakes ever. I want more." It is hard keeping a four year old from being active.
The picture below is from the Astros game Sunday. After church we went to Houston and had a Cullen day. He wanted to go to a ballgame, to see Kung Fu Panda, eat Mexican and stay in a hotel before his big surgery. We all had a great time. Too bad the Stros lost. I guess our family in St. Louis were excited about the outcome of the game. We should have stayed in our seats.
